We take you surfing in Byron Bay the best places to learn the skills of surfing.
Have ' fun Learning to Surf ' obtaining new skills with us, in these beautiful pristine waters within the Byron Shire .
Our Surf Coaches and office staff enjoy the sport of surfing too.
So they do practice what they preach and go surfing regularly.
Coaching Staff are accredited through Surfing Australia, Australian Sports Commision, and Australian Coaching Council.
We love the idea of coaching and encouraging you, our client, to enjoy the fun, safety and ' riding the wave'.
Serena Adams co-founded Surfing Byron Bay P/L and has been coaching and instructing since 1990. Serena started surfing at 3 years old and has been surfing continuously since then, both overseas and all around Australia.
Serena is from a family of surfers, her mother Christine, father Peter and sister Teresa are all heavily involved in Surfing Byron Bay P/L. Her other siblings and Husband Matt are also keen surfers.
Serena Adams, Greg Lawson, Dan Davidson, Brett Curtin, Peter Cox, Heidi Blackburn-Tapia and Keeda Scully are our fantastic surfing team of instructors.

Ocean Safe Educational Program
Since 1997 Surfing Byron Bay P/L have been providing this program to Primary,Secondary, Tertiary, Universities and English Schools.
Surfing Byron Bay P/L offers a range of surf safety, surf education- rips,currents and tides, surfboard riding, bodysurfing and bodyboard programs all year round for students. All programs are tailored for the school and the age of the participants.
We are the only surf school in Byron Bay that our programs and Surf School are endorsed by the Australian Sports Commission and Surfing Australia.
We run our programs in conjunction with Surfing Australia's Safe Surfing Program and the N.S.W. Education Department Risk Assessment guidlines.
Our tiered programs range from the beginner to the elite.
All staff are trained in Level 1 Surf Coaching by Surfing Australia and also hold current First Aid and Resuscitation Qualifications, all coaches have completed a working with children Check.

Corporations requiring a team building fun, safety and educational day or camp cannot go wrong with Surfing Byron Bay's team of professionals.
No matter how large or small your group, we can design a program to suit your team requirements.
We offer lessons on surfboard riding, bodyboarding, beach games and other activities within Byron Bay.
We take the worry out of organising a day or camp for you.
We offer your team a wide selection of Options from 2hr packages thru to a full day package. Examples set out as below
1. Surf Full Day package only
2. Surfing with a barbeque lunch
3. Surfing with lunch followed by a 2nd activity and then dinner
4. Two day surf camp, minimum of 3 surfs, lunch, dinner and breakfast
5. Other options to suit your requirements
6. Photographer for your surfing experience- (organise prior)
Accomodation can be organized for you within Byron Bay or the adjacent hinterland
for a quieter area

All lessons need to be booked via this websites Shopping Cart or by calling 02 66 857 099.
Surf lessons will be cancelled due to dangerous surf conditions i.e. when the beaches have been closed.
All participants will be given a refund or a credit in this situation.
All participants/parents or guardians must read and agree to the indemnity form prior to each lesson.
No money will be refunded, or credit given, unless Surfing Byron Bay P/L has been notified of a cancellation 24 hours before the lesson is to start.
If Surfing Byron Bay P/L has been given 24 hours notice of the cancellation a credit or refund will be made.
Lessons can be transferred to another person or family member.
