Surfing Byron Bay P/L was formed by current owners Matt and Serena Adams
in 1997 and has been instructing surfers locally and from all over the world for over 10years in Byron Bay, Australia. Byron Bay is seen as one of the best places in Australia to learn to surf, what better place could you find to begin your journey into the surfing way of life.

Here at Surfing Byron Bay P/L, we don’t ‘just take you surfing’ We introduce you to the surfing lifestyle at a ground level covering all aspects to ensure you are well and truly on the right track to keep your head above water.

Surfing Byron Bay P/L holds beach permits to operate on Byron Bay beaches through the Byron Shire Council and Cape Byron Trust which enables you to access all beaches in the area and provide the best waves possible on the day of your surf lesson.

Surfing Byron Bay P/L is the Surfing Australia licensed surf school in Byron Bay. Surfing Australia is the governing body of surfing.

Your instructor is a Surfing Australia accredited level 1 or level 2 surf coaches, they don’t just love surfing, they live it. With a minimum of 15 yrs surfing experience each, and a major understanding of local beaches and conditions, you are guaranteed a high quality lesson, in a safe and controlled environment.

Surfing Byron Bay’s P/L surfing programs range from Introductory Beginner to Intermediate surfers. Groups can enquire about the SAFE SURFING PROGRAM aimed to teach students the dangers of the ocean and give them skills to be safer in the surf.
‘The retention of one safety hint may save a life.’

Other programs include Team building sessions for corporate groups and private functions for a birthday, hens or bucks show or with a group of mates.
